Yei River County Commissioner said security is the responsibility of every person in the county and not left only for the organized forces.
Elia Waiwai urged all citizens in the county to make sure that security of people and properties is maintained.He called upon residents to report criminals and individuals holding illegal guns to the concerned authorities.
He appealed to citizens to report any misconduct of the police and to the county authorities.
Mr Waiwai said he requested the Inspector General of Police in Central Equatoria State to deploy a team of Rescue Police in Yei to help maintain security in the town.
