Fourteen children reported missing after Monday’s aerial bombings at Elfog refugee camp, in Upper Nile State, have been accounted for.

UNHCR, the UN agency for refugees, said staff on the ground were informed that all of the 14 children were found.

UNHCR protection officers held discussions with refugee women at the site and received confirmation that all the children had been found.

No casualties were reported.

Monday’s air raid took place while UN agencies were making preparations to move some 5,000 Sudanese refugees to a safer camp 70 kilometres away from the volatile border.
