An MP at the National Legislative Assembly representing Wulu County advised the youths to respect their leaders.
Address the youth during the Wulu County youth day celebration, Simon Malual Deng said that it would be dangerous for the youth to gossip about their leaders that they are not qualified. He said the youth should be patient and wait for their turn.
Mr Malual urged the youth to respect leaders adding that the only qualification they have was the sacrifice they made during the war for the freedom that the country enjoys now.
Wulu County Education Director William Koji Kirjot told the youth that they should not run after politicians; instead they will come looking for youth help when there are elections.
He said that that is the time where every body can engage in politics and the youth can choose carefully who to support and vote for.
Mr Koji cautioned young people against engaging in politics especially when it is not time for election campaigns.
He appealed to the elected leaders not to waste time in political talks but to concentrate on development and ensure that the youths have access to education.
