The Holy Family Chapel in Lobonok Payam of Central Equatoria is celebrating today its patron saints, the Holy Family of Nazareth.

Richard Kose Kenyi, who chairs the Organizing Committee, told Bakhita Radio that the feast is important because it brings the Bari people together.

He added that it is the first time the Holy Family community celebrates its feast as part of the new parish of Saint Mathew and the Republic of South Sudan.

Mr. Kose expressed his happiness for the love and unity his people put together to celebrate their feast.

He called on the parish priest of Saint Mathew, the parish and the Holy Family chapel to unite the people of Lobonok Payam.

Speaker James Wani Igga, who hails from Lobonok, is expected to take part in the celebration.
