More than 200 children were baptized this morning in Christ the King parish in Yei.
Catechist Nathaniel Brown told Radio Easter that 40 children were from the chapel of St Francis in Hai Mahadi and 180 from Christ the King Cathedral.
Vicar general Fr. Angutwa said baptism is a sign of growth in faith in the diocese which is good for the development of South Sudan.
He appealed to parents to bring their children to God as Mary the Mother of Christ did.
More than 400 people gathered to witness the baptism.
