About 30 rooms next to the main prefab Beijing Juba Hotel were burnt down by a mysterious fire this afternoon, but no casualties were reported.
The hotel manager, Lee Kongkwa, explained that the fire started at Room 141, that there was heavy smoke and when he came down it was late to contain the flames.
He said people were screaming for help but they managed to evacuate everyone from the rooms.
Mr Lee added that the cause of the fire is not known.
An eyewitness, Moah John Paul, explained that custommers were having lunch in the main building upstairs, immediately the electricity went off followed by some commotion outside and then they saw heavy smoke through the window.
