Leaders from various community based organization are attending a four-day capacity building training at Yei to improve management skills.
Mr. Kenasuk said he expected the participants will learn about separation of powers between the management and the board of directors, respect for the different roles in decision making process, transparency and public accountability.
Mr Kenasuk appealed to good governance among leaders of the different organizations and CBOs without conflicts of interests.
Malita Sylvia and Bahabib Khemis, two participants at the training, said they are getting leadership skills and learning about the importance of the board of directors to better CBOs’ operations.
The training organized by International HIV AIDS Alliance in collaboration with South Sudan AIDS Commission and Multi Donor Trust Fund is being attended by 24 participants from Terekeka, Juba, Lainya, Yei and Morobo counties.
