Community leaders in Nuba Mountains were urged to sensitise residents about the danger of bushes fires.
Rashid Adam Anur is working for community and social protection in the Eldu Payam.He said the leaders of the communities of South Kordofan should urge their people not to burn grass, because it destroys the environment and its natural beauty .
Mr. Adam added that the grass was very important to the community because of it uses for grazing and building thatched roofs.
He advised the entire community to cooperate and maintain the environment in the region.
