The national Ministry of Health has postponed the mass immunization campaign against polio for one week due to budget delays.

Yei River County Supervisor for Expanded Program on Polio Immunization, Wani Gulliver, told Radio Easter that the ministry decided to postpone the mass vaccination programme due to delayed budgeting.

He said some donors are still sending the funds necessary to support the government.

Mr. Wan appealed to mothers and caretakers to remain calm because the programme requires many funds for fuel and logistics.

The mass immunization campaign against polio has been pushed to next Tuesday until Friday.
