PEPSI TO OPEN FACTORY IN RUMBEK

A soft drinks company is opening a factory in Rumbek, Lakes State.

The manager of the Rumbek-based Nile Water Bottling Company, David Embaye, told Good News Radio that Pepsi Cola has already issued a license to his company to produce the beverage.

The government of South Sudan is financing the factory.

The new factory will provide 1,500 jobs.

It should begin operations in a couple of months.

Mr. Embaye said Rumbek is central and the factory will supply the beverage with ease to the entire country.

He said at the beginning it will produce soft drinks to Lakes State.

Mr. Embaye called upon the communities in Lakes State and in South Sudan to create a conducive environment for business to create jobs and improve living conditions.
