SPLM-North forces are making progress against the troops of Khartoum in Blue Nile state after last week’s intense combats.
SPLM-North spokesman in South Kordofan, Mohammeden Ibrahim Omar, said his forces were involved in heavy fighting against the army of Khartoum in Blue Nile from Thursday up to Saturday.He claimed that the SPLM-North force destroyed four trucks and four airplanes from the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and made many casualties during the combats.
Mr. Ibrahim said in recent weeks there were many demonstrations across Sudan against the National Congress Party’s regime.
He added that the NCP will be toppled from power very soon.
Mr. Omar remarked that SAF forces will be expelled from South Kordofan and Blue Nile states.
