The Nuba Mountains’ Director General for Education has said that the education system in Nuba Mountains is in progress despite the insecurity and aerial bombardments in the area.
Kutti Ernesto Afjan said the schools are going to open after the authorities made the arrangements and preparations.He added that the education directors in the counties and the supervisors in the payams have been alerted and they will announce to all teachers to report for work.
Mr. Afjan also said that the authorities are determined to go ahead with the educational system dispite of bombardments saying that the National Congress Party does not want them to go along with education.
The Director General advised the Nuba people to take education as one of the main reasons for their struggle saying that they should make it a reality to their children.
The Nuba government is determined to make sure that education is in a place even if the insecurity continues in the region.
