South Sudan needs a long period of time in order to tap its own resources and develop.
The chairperson of South Sudan Land Commission Robert Ladu Luki made this statement to Easter Radio yesterday.He said South Sudan is rich in natural resources but it needs time to develop them.
Mr. Ladu added that the government should not continue blaming Khartoum for the lack of development.
He said now is the time to deliver.
Mr. Ladu urged all the citizens in South Sudan to join hands and work for the development of the new nation.
He was in Yei to take part in the celebrations of Democracy International Day.
