Late Pope John Paul II had always a message of hope for the people of Sudan and South Sudan and saw that they sufferings would end in peace.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro said Pope John Paul hade always a word of hope when he met with Sudanese and South Sudanese bishops.He added that the country was always in the heart of the Church.
Archbishop Lukudu said Pope John Paul Ð whom he called a holy man Ð saw that the unjust mistreatment of the people of Sudan and South Sudan would not end in disaster but in peace.
The Archbishop of Juba made these statements on Thursday during the mass that concluded the assembly of the Catholic bishops and heads of diocese in South Sudan.
