A man collapsed and fainted in Budi County after a currency conversion official rejected the old Dinar notes that he wanted to exchange for South Sudanese pounds.
Fr Dario Arite, the Parish priest of Chukudum in Budi County, told Emmanuel Radio that the man who kept about 500 Dinar for long period of time got shocked and fainted after the money was rejected.The 500 Dinar was the whole money the man had to change, the equivalent of five Sudanese pounds.
Fr. Arite said the currency conversion was a success in Budi County with the exception of Nawapak Payam where the exercise did not run smoothly.
