YEI POLICE ARRESTS FOUR OVER MONEY LAUNDERING

Police authorities in Yei River have arrested four people suspected of circulating fake money in the county.

Crime inspector lieutenant Martin Izzy told Easter Radio that the criminals were using fake money for their personal interests.

The criminals were identified as Paul Bofandu from DR Congo, Fusu Rodrick Idris from Cameroon, Babikir Mohamed from Darfur and Arike Jackson from Morobo County.

Mr. Izzy urged people to have positive altitude towards development in the new nation instead of weakening the economy of the country.

He added that chiefs and headsmen should work hand in hand with the police to ban high crimes from the county.
