The SPLM MPs met today in Juba to discuss new strategies to fulfil the party’s elections promises to the citizens of South Sudan.

The meeting was shared by the SPLM caucus chairperson Atem Garang De Kuek, Bakhita Radio reported.

SPLM Deputy Secretary General Anne Itto told the MPs that the SPLM has got some unfinished business.

She advised the members to fulfil the promises of peace, prosperity and development the SPLM made during elections and referendum campaigns.

Dr. Itto stressed that the SPLM’s promises should not be the responsibility of the party and the President alone but a collective task to be achieved by all Southerners.

Dr. Itto asked the SPLM members to work together for a better and peaceful country and forget differences.

She urged the members to empower citizens to be able to govern themselves and become a better nation.

Dr. Itto concluded that the SPLM is committed to accomplish its goals and promises.
