An economist blamed the current fuel crisis in South Sudan on lack of government policies to control the oil market.

Kimo Adiabo said that the government should look into constructing storage facilities to avoid such crises in the future.

Mr. Adiabo said the government has failed to observe the economy in general adding that most activities in Juba are on a stand still due to lack of fuel.

He noted that there is no electricity in government institutions and transport has been too expensive to afford.

Mr. Adiabo said stuff like food items and fuel are supposed to have storage facilities for any kind of emergency that may break out.
