A doctor at Kumi clinic in Nuba Mountains said the place lacks medical facilities and personnel to run the health centre.
Doctor Hatim Mustafa said the UNICEF had played a big role in funding the clinic with the drugs.However, he added that the on-going political situation in South Kordofan State has sabotaged the purchase of drugs.
Dr. Mustafa appealed to the German Emergency Doctors and World Health Organization for assistance with the drugs.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal. For its outreach, CRN has a potential audience of about seven million people, considering the influx of returnees to South Sudan after the Sudan Population Census 2008.
