Tonj commemorated late William Deng Nhial for two days; the event that started yesterday and involved the three Greater Tonj counties.
The newly appointed commissioner of Tonj East County, Gai Manyuan, said the late hero William Deng Nhial died for his people adding that who ever died for the same cause is remembered during this occasion in South Sudan, Don Bosco FM reported.Tonj South County Commissioner Akech Tong Aleu said the commemoration was attended by all the executive chiefs, community leaders and commissioners.
He added that each county contributed with some bulls.
The commemoration took place at late Dend’s grave in Tonj.
Twenty two bulls were slaughtered.
