A soldier shot himself dead on Sunday in Kauda, Nuba Mountains, after he knew the Southern Kordofan elections results.
A witness told Voice of Peace FM that the soldier was upset when he heard that NCP candidate Ahmed Haroun won the governorship and committed suicide.The final results of South Kordofan polls were announced on Sunday.
The NCP won 22 seats and the SPLM ten the state assembly.
The SPLM accused the NCP of rigging the vote and refused to accept the results.
