In a press statement to media houses, UNMIS says it has commenced an investigation into the incident
The incident took place yesterday afternoon at around in Goli, approximately 25 kilometers north of Abyei town.
The four wounded peacekeepers, one of whom in serious condition, have been evacuated to Abyei for medical treatment.
