The catholic bishop of Yei said he will admit a seminarian to the holy orders on the Sunday of the Good Shepherd.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe announced that Pascal Emmanuel will be admitted to the holy orders on May 15, 2011, the first step towads diaconate, Easter Radio reported.He explained that the fourth Sunday of Easter is called the Good Shepherd Sunday and it is also the World Day of Prayer for Vacations.
Bishop Lodu added that Seminarian Mude should follow the example of Jesus, the Good Shepherd who cares for his flock.
The Bishop of Yei urged all the faithful to pray for the seminarian so that he becomes a priest to serve the people of God amidst many challenges.
Bishop Lodu made the announcement on Sunday during the official launch of Yei Diocese’s Silver Jubilee at St. Joseph Parish in Lutaya.
