Eastern Equatoria disaster management minister said he needs to revive the humanitarian action plan in the state.
Beniah Benjamin Kitara told Emmanuel Radio that all NGOs and UN agencies operating in humanitarian fields will be involved in the process.Community based Organizations, Southern Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation, ant anti-corruption commissions, are humanitarian actors of the state together with Disarmaments, Demobilization and Rehabilitation Committee and other organizations.
The minister made the call for a revitalized action plan yesterday while meeting the state humanitarian commission in South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitations Commission office in Torit.
Mr. Kitara commented all humanitarian organizations operating in the state and encouraged them to work in collaboration with the ministry.
He assured the humanitarian actors of his full support, and he called on all the NGOs, UN agencies and CBOs to update the ministry on the humanitarian situation in the state.
