Any attempt to move the capital of South Sudan from Juba is a mere dream that will become a nightmare.
This is the view of SPLM-DC leader Onyoti Adigo Nyikwec who said building a new capital requires huge resources that South Sudan does not have, Bakhita Radio reported.
He added that South Sudan is still facing numerous challenges including the resettlement of returnees.
Mr. Adigo said the government should prioritize basic service delivery such as schools, hospitals, food security and clean drinking water to the citizens across the region.
CLast week Oyai Deng Ajack Ð who heads the taskforce for the federal capital Ð said Juba is not a suitable location because it lacks adequate land to accommodate the ever growing population and for investment.
