A senior official in the Upper Nile Education ministry asked parents and guardians of primary eight students to support their children in order to pass examinations.
Director General William Gwang Deng said parents and guardians should leave their children free from house duties during the examination period, Voice of Love reported.He added that girls are always overloaded by parents and they have the same rights of boys.
Mr. Gwang urged parents to provide their children with some pocket money during the exams.
He suggested that children who are sitting for primary school leaving exams should be kept away from television.
