The Bishop of Tombura-Yambio said the Ugandan rebels are a real threat to development in Western Equatoria.
Bishop Edward Hiiboro said the people of Western Equatoria cannot work in the fields to use their natural potentials due to the Lord Resistance Army (LRA) presence in the state, Bakhita Radio reported.He called on the US government to put an end to the LRA’s atrocities in the region so that the people can be free to work.
The Bishop made these statements yesterday in Maridi during the inauguration of the town’s electrification project.
