Two people were killed and nine injured in a car accident on Sunday in Chawe, South Kordofan.
Abdulrahman Osman, the head of administrative unit of wounded soldiers in Kauda, told Voice of Peace that the accident took place in Karpu, near Chawre.Mr. Osman said the accident was caused by a motorbike rider who crossed ahead of the driver forcing him to brake suddenly and the vehicle turned over.
Hec said the car that suffered the accident was part of a convoy that went to Bentu to collect salaries for wounded soldiers.
Mr. Osman added that the accident took place in a remote area and the authorities were unable to contact the police investigate the collision.
