Students in Upper Nile University expressed their feelings on the SAF clashes that kept the university closed for almost one week.
Since the clashes broke out in Malakal on Thursday evening the university remained closed and the frightened students remained in their hostels, Voice of Love reported.One of the students said the clashes have disturbed life at the university when students were preparing for their final examinations.
Most of the students said the shootings interfered with their studies.
However, one said they were ready to sit for the final exams which are scheduled for February 21 according to the university calendar.
However, the university postponed the examinations for one week to February 28 for senior students.
The university announced also that first year supplementary exams will be sat on February 20, 1odays after the original schedule.
Many students have not yet reported to their supplementary examination centres in Renk, Malakal and Khartoum due to the clashes.
