The thirteenth annual assembly of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek should consider the current situation of Sudan in its deliberations.
This is the hope of Fr. Antoine Kondo, a Comboni Missionary serving at Mapuordit Parish.Fr. Kondo told Good News Radio that the Church personnel should look at the birth of the new nation and adjust its ways of evangelization.
Fr. Kondo further said that he expects a collective approach in the building of the new nation of South Sudan.
He expressed the need for a common vision among the Church personnel gathering in Rumbek to have a more effective presence in the region together with the commitment to implement the resolutions from the assembly.
The Church personnel started arriving yesterday to start their annual assembly.
