The Yei Diocese Pastoral office has a new coordinator since today.
Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, who was appointed secretary general, handed t the office of pastoral coordinator to Fr. Faustino Lomori and the youth chaplaincy to Fr. Alex Lodiong, Easter Radio reported.Fr. Lodongo thanked all the people, priests, and the bishop for their collaboration during the six years he remained in office.
Fr. Lodongo said that he will never regret the services he offered to the people of Lutaaya and he wished success to the new pastoral coordinator.
Fr. Faustino urged his fellow priests to cooperate with the office rather than criticizing it.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe of Yei praised Fr. Lodongo for the hard work done in the past six years.
Bishop Lodu added that there were challenges and failures in every workplace but they should be taken with goodwill and courage.
The bishop encouraged cooperation among priests adding that he will always support them when necessary.
