The President of South Sudan said that his government and the NCP will solve post-referendum issues including Abyei before the end of interim period in July.
Salva Kiir Mayardit said the negations between Juba and Khartoum on pending issues like the borders, popular consultations in Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan and other post referendum arrangements will definitely be sorted out in the next five months.Mr. Kiir said he asked the ministers responsible for security to bring to justice what he called the sponsored criminals to destabilize South Sudan.
Mr. Kiir urged southerners to live peacefully with northerners in South Sudan.
He added that North and South Sudan will remain twin countries for good.
Mr. Kiir made these statements yesterday in Juba during the announcement of South Sudan referendum results.
