YOUTH CLEANS UP TONJ

Youth turned up in huge numbers yesterday evening to clean Tonj town and the returnees’ camp, in Warrap state.

The exercise was encouraged by Tonj public health officer in collaboration with an NGO and the catholic parish, Don Bosco FM reported.

Martin Mabior, the county’s public health officer, said 150 young women and men showed to the public how to keep the town and their dwelling places clean.

He added that people will be told where to dispose their waste properly.

Mr. Mabior remarked that the youth showed their love to the returnees by cleaning theirs camp area.

Mr. Mabior said people should be able to keep their own area clean to be free from diseases.

Mr. Mabior noted that a proper disposal of wastes will improve sanitation in Tonj South County.
