Tonj local artists performed at the Catholic Church during the Salesian Week last night with more than 150 youths from different chapels in attendance.
Albino Athuai, one of the artists, said he was happy to show his talent for the first time on the stage, Don Bosco FM reported.He urged the community elders to encourage the youth to come up with their own talents.
Kuluel Jak composed a song called Come back home.
He said the idea came to him after he returned from a foreign country where he witnessed sufferings.
The song calls upon South Sudanese abroad to come back and build the new country.
The music show was organized by the Salesians in preparation for the feast of St. John Bosco on January 31.
