Budi and Kapoeta East counties, in Eastern Equatoria, have finally handed their preliminary results to referendum state authorities this morning.

The two counties were the last to bring in their results, Emmanuel Radio reported.

Mary Jua, the outreach focal person for the Referendum, said the authorities felt very relieved to receive the results from the two missing counties.

She said that tomorrow the High Committee will combine all the data to announce the preliminary results on Saturday.

Ms. Jua said Budi and Kapoeta East counties were remote and hilly places with bad roads and the results were brought by helicopter today.

With Budi and Kapoeta East handing their results, collection of preliminary results from the eight counties of Eastern Equatoria State is completed.

In Lopa/Lafon County secession scored a full mark and no one marked the unity circle.
