Six people were killed in two separate attacks on Torit-Lafon road yesterday.
An eye witness told Emmanuel Radio that unknown gunmen attacked a group of villagers who were going to the fields to harvest grain and three were killed.Later on the same day, a lorry was ambushed in the same area and another three persons died.
The shootings took place at Bulen, in Lopa-Lafon County, some 38 kilometres north of Torit.
Two days before the incidents, another person was shot and later died, bringing to seven the number of people killed in three days.
The lorry was carrying 26 passengers. Three managed to reach Lafon while two arrived in Torit.
