Malakal apostolic administrator prayed for peace during and after the referendum period.

Monsignor Roko Taban Mousa told the congregation in his Sunday homely to maintain peace during and after the voting period.
Mr. Taban appealed to southerners to liberate themselves by voting for freedom but warned them never to use violence and revenge against the previous oppressors.
He said that the independence of southern Sudan must give southerners peace and freedom in the region. He urged southerners to bury all the bad feelings or sufferings they experienced in the past.
