Medical doctors should inform the people to choose credible and safe facilities instead of going to dubious practitioners when they need health care.
GoSS Minister without portfolio Priscilla Nyan-nyang Kuc made this statement at a doctors’ seminar in Juba today.Dr. Kuc said people needed proper information to choose genuine health facilities and avoid poor health care when they are in need.
She urged doctors to look beyond the definition of health to include the nutritional dimension as key to the wellbeing of persons.
Dr Kuc said it was the doctors’ responsibility to shape government polices on food security and nutrition.
