Holy Family Catholic Parish in Rumbek is organizing a procession to pray for a peaceful referendum in Sudan.
Sr. Maria Goreti Adut is part of the organizing committee. She told Good News Radio that the prayer march takes place tomorrow under the theme “Reconciliation walk for a peaceful referendum.”Sister Goretti invited all catholic communities and groups from Rumbek and surroundings to take part in the procession.
Sister Goretti said it was very important to pray and make sacrifices for a peaceful referendum.
She added that God always hears the prayers of his children.
The procession is part of the initiative 101 Days of Prayer for a Peaceful Referendum in Sudan that is running from September 21, 2010 to January 1, 2011.
