Over fifty delegates from the National Assembly in Khartoum came to Juba to survey referendum centres and update themselves on the registration progress.

The delegation started the visit at John Garang’s Mausoleum Referendum Centre for its remarkable turnout with over 15 thousands registrants.

Central Equatoria Deputy Governor Manase Lomole told journalists that the delegation wanted to check and be briefed about the registration process across Southern Sudan.

Mr. Lomole said it was important that the delegation checked the registration process in the region.

He added that Central Equatoria is leading registration in South Sudan with over 280 thousands voters enrolled until November 28.

The parliamentary delegation is expected to visit other states across south Sudan.
