Women turned up in great numbers to sign on for the referendum at the second day of voter registration in Tonj.
In a surprise turnout, many women came very early in the morning to register for the referendum, Don Bosco FM reported.Kuen Makoi urged other citizens to come and register instead of remaining at home.
Rebecca Jur Achour said the voter registration was part of liberation and everybody should register.
Gabriel Thiep, who supervises one referendum centre in Tonj, said people came before 7 AM to register, waking up the officials.
