Nationals working with international and domestic NGOs are training on monitoring and evaluation of development plans for post-referendum period.
Sixteen participants were sponsored and sent by different organizations to attend the training for development sustainability.Research and Development Consultant Peter Kilonzo told SCR News that the workshop would capacitate the participants to promote community input in development projects.
Mr. Kilonzo said Sudan registered a fast growth during the interim period.
He expects more development activities to happen after the referendum.
Mr. Kilonzo added that the course on monitoring and evaluation would enable communities to engage in the development processes and assess them.
The training was facilitated by the Participatory Development Centre, a Kenya-based consultancy firm.
