Juba Students voiced their hopes for fundamental changes after the referendum that will benefit their generation.

SCR News reporter caught up with students yesterday in Juba at a referendum procession to find out their reactions on post referendum issues.

Florence Juwa is a student at Dr. John Garang Memorial School. She said that women will have their rights recognized.

Florence’s colleague, Samuel Ali added that the new South Sudan will have a better road network and bigger markets.

Another male student said he wanted more and better schools for the region.

A pupil from Juba Day Secondary School urged the international community to keep a close watch of the referendum process and continue supporting it.

The referendum will determine the future, destiny and aspirations of South Sudan youths.
