The Episcopal Church of the Sudan organized today a Day of Witness for Children in Yei town concluding a week-long evangelization programme.
Elioba Amule, an ECS pastor, told Radio Easter that event aimed at enabling the younger ones to understand what a mature Christian was.Rev. Amule said that the theme was “Choose whom do you want to serve.”
He urged the children to make the right decisions in whatever they were doing adding that if they chose to work with the devil they would encounter many problems in life.
Rev. Amule said that in the Gospel of Matthew Jesus loved the children and even welcomed them. He appealed to parents to imitate the example of Jesus.
The event took place at the ECS Emmanuel Cathedral in Yei and gathered some 200 kids from different Christian Churches.
