Bishop Mazzolari condemned the assassination attempt the feast of St. Daniel Comboni.
He described the attacker as an evil figure.
Bishop Mazzolari encouraged Christians in Sudan to pray more frequently to find unity and strength, and strengthen collaboration with the leaders of the Church.
