The Catholic Archbishop of Juba said that the referendum should be taken as God’s will for the people for southern Sudan.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro blessed the Women Conference on the 2011 Referendum that started today at the Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly in Juba.

Archbishop Lukudu said the voice of people is the voice of God and the outcome of the referendum should be respected as God’s will for South Sudan.

The archbishop urged southerners to listen to one another instead of abusing and fighting each other.

Archbishop Lukudu told Southerners what angel Gabriel said to Mary: do not worry since with God everything is possible.

He urged the people of south Sudan to learn from Mary how to listen to the voice of God that speaks to them.
