The governor-elect of Western Equatoria will prioritize reconciliation and unity among the people of the state to overcome tribal and family divisions during the elections.
Talking to SCR News, Bangasi Joseph Bakasoro said the elections have divided many people in the state and reconciliation is a necessity.He urged all people to throw the past away and open a new page.
Mr. Bakasoro added that unity will be his second point in agenda through the formation of the government.
Mr. Bakosoro dismissed allegations of tribalism pinned against him during the elections campaign.
Mr. Bakasoro said addressing security issues like the Lords’ Resistance Army, Ambororo and internal conflicts are among his major priorities too.
He noted that improved security will recover the agriculture sector in the state.
