In a significant milestone for the Church in the\u00a0Nuba Mountains pastoral region,\u00a0four seminarians were ordained as deacons, with the event also marking the appointment of\u00a0Rev. Fr. Peter Suliman\u00a0as Episcopal Vicar.<\/p>\n

The ordination ceremony was presided over by Bishop Christian Carlassare of Bentiu, who stepped in for the Bishop of El-Obeid, unable to attend due to insecurity in the region.<\/p>\n

During his homily, Bishop Carlassare emphasized that the\u00a0ministry of the Word is a shared responsibility, not limited to religious leaders.<\/p>\n

He also\u00a0warned the faithful against distractions\u00a0and the danger of straying from the one true God.<\/p>\n

The event, the\u00a0first of its kind in the Nuba Mountains, drew\u00a0hundreds of attendees\u00a0including\u00a0leaders from various Christian denominations, showcasing a spirit of\u00a0ecumenical unity.<\/p>\n
