The Chairman of the Pastoral Parish Council at St. Peter and Paul Parish has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the youth for their tireless efforts in raising funds to build a new church.
Catechist Matta Daniel praised the youth for their dedication, noting that in his three decades of service, he has never seen such a committed group.
St. Peter and Paul Parish, which has long struggled without a permanent church building, has been holding services under trees. With over 1.7 million Sudanese pounds raised in just two years, the parishioners are now set to begin construction on a new church.
Daniel commended the efforts of the youth, stating that this achievement will leave a lasting impact on the community for years to come.
