Chiefs of Hai Baggari Jedid, Hai Khamsin and Jebel Kheir are demanding for more police stations to provide security services within Wau Municipality.
Chiefs’ representative, Joseph Anthony, recognizes that lack of security stability within the area was the main challenge forcing citizens to remain in the camps, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
He reveals that security is the priority and it is necessary to have police station within the area.
Wau town mayor, Paulino Saeed Uku, emphasizes on urgent need to also have police stations in some places in Wau that do not have any nearby station.
The speakers made these remarks to media houses during the laying of foundation stone of Hai Baggari Jedid police station.
